How To Apply Glueless 13x4 Lace Front Wigs

Recommended Posts

Most people night use wig glue to secure your 13x4 Lace Front Wigs on your head. But do you know the disadvantage? Using strong wig glue will cause a lot of problems. Some of them cannot be reversed, or it will block the pores in your scalp which can lead to damaging your hair follicles. This can prevent hair from growing along your hairline and even thinning out the hair that’s already there.

Prepare your lace front wig
When you purchase 13x4 Lace Frontal, pls choose the one which has combs and adjustable straps inside, usually one located at the top of the head, another above each ear, and one in the back toward the nape of your neck to secure your wig stably. Then for your natural hair, if it is long hair, you need to braid it and comb it into cornrows. For short hair, a wig cap is needed. Be sure the lace color matches your skins well. Please don’t forget to moisturize hair underneath wig cap to prevent dryness or breakage. Once your natural hair is flat, it’s time to apply your 13x4 Lace Frontal Wig.

Lace wigs usually come with clips. There is usually one on top of the head, and one in the back toward the nape of your neck.

Wig Tape
Wig tape is an adhesive for fixing 13x4 Lace Wig. However, wig tape is generally not as strong or damaging as wig glue. Wig tape is a great alternative to glue. These are easily removable and can help your skin breathe.

Then smooth all the hair along your hairline back, Put a thin layer of liquid band air or scalp protector on the skin right below your hairline. Now you can peel off the protective paper from the wig tape and stick the wig to your natural hairline. Gently press this area for 5 to 10 seconds to make the wig firm and natural.

Elastic Bands
Many wigs come with elastic to easily wear them anytime you want but many others don’t. If your wig doesn’t come with an elastic band then you can sew on horizontally along the back of your wig. This is best suited for people who have accidentally bought wigs that are a few sizes bigger.

Ultimately, the key to a perfect installation is that you have the most flexible hands. So do you have any other method to install the Glueless Lace Wigs? If so, please tell me.
